If you thought rats were difficult to kill without of a rat trap, imagine one that can talk to others of its kind telepathically. It can be a look out, warn others of impending danger, call for help, and much more. Larger, more powerful psirats can even detect the thoughts of other creatures, warning them to active dangers instead of merely potential threats.
