Its official. I am going to be at That Game Convention just outside of Harrisburg, PA. I’ll be running 2 different Pathfinder adventures in three different time slots. The first is the Temple of Orcus and the second is Shadows of the Dusk Queen. Both of these are for the upcoming Shadowsfall setting. Come to the convention and to get a first look at these adventures and a sneak peak at the Shadowsfall.
We’re looking at getting a tentative convention schedule for the next year assembled, but a lot of cons have poorly maintained (or non-existant) websites. Many others we find their website by accident instead of a simple Google search. So we’re coming to you. What local gaming cons do you goto that we should be at. Realistically, we can only go anywhere inside the area of Columbus OH, Rochester, NY, Boston, MA, and Norfolk, VA. We’re really only looking at smaller gaming cons (as small as 50 to as large as 5,000-10,000 attendees). Anything larger (or any size non-gaming focused convention) and a small company like ours tends to get lost in the sea of vendors. We’re currently looking for either Pathfinder-focused cons or a general gaming con where Pathfinder is one of the games played. I’m more than happy to run some games.
So we’re asking you. What is your favorite gaming con? Tell us! We love small cons of 50-100 attendees. They’re really small and personal and we get to know all the gamers there. Tell us about your local con today.
Jon Brazer Entrprises is going to be at PaizoCon in a big way. We are thrilled and are spending just about every waking moment planning for it. We’d love to meet you there.
The Meet and Eat at the Crab Pot-Bellevue (see this thread for details). Both myself and my wonderful girlfriend and editor, Janel, will be attending and can’t wait to scarf down some crab with our fellow gamers.
9am – 8 Kender Walk into a Bar game. I’ll be running a wacky game where the players play kender and are free to steal, pilfer and eat every shiny dodad in sight. Atleast until they get thrown out of the bar, if there is a bar left to get thrown out of.
1pm – The Savage Species of Kaer Maga game. When 8 heroes of wildly different races help stop a zombie attack. But can they save the missing children some seemingly intelligent zombies stole? Play a Fetchling Ranger or a Tengu sorcerer or one of a number of other races not from the core book.
1pm – Secrets of a Small Press Publisher Join Wolfgang Baur, Stan! Brown, Owen Stephens, and myself as we discuss what being a small press publisher is like. Bring your questions and we’ll give you the straight answers into what its like publishing for your favorite Role Playing Game.
Evening – Paizo Preview Banquet. Janel and I will be attending the preview banquet in full anticipation to find out what our favorite publisher is going to be doing for a while to come. We hope that you’ll be at our table.
Meet Janel and myself at our table in the Dealer’s Room. We are bringing:
Book of the River Nations: Complete Player’s Reference for Kingdom Building (PFRPG) – Get all the rules you are looking for in one easy to reference tome, now in perfect bound
Book of Beasts: Monsters of the River Nations (PFRPG), Surprise your players with new and interesting monsters in their adventures through the River Nations.

Mech Tech ‘n’ bot: Mech Squadrons (Traveller), Because the only thing more fun than driving a tank down main street is driving the mech that steps on the tank. Get vehicle and mass combat stats for these vehicles as tall as buildings for your Traveller game.
Each of these books comes with our PDF Guarantee!
While you’re at our table, enter our drawing to get all our Pathfinder PDFs for free.
We can’t wait to see you there!
Plans are set, reservations made. Jon Brazer Enterprises is going to GenCon and Origins. The only problem is, I don’t know if I will be going. My book will be there for sure. I just finished ordering a slot at the Game Publishers Association booth to have a book or two there. So far, so good. I know what the Origins release will be: [PFRPG] Book of Beasts: Monsters of the River Nations. I’m still working out the exact specifics for GenCon will be. Either way, look for us at those shows.
PhilCon is this weekend. I’m going!!! My first SF Convention, ever. Finally a time when timing works out for me that I get to go. I’ll try to take notes on the panels I’ll be attending and post them afterwards. Let me know if you are going too.
